As the co-editor-in-chief for the schoolโ€™s news magazine, โ€œWest Side Story,โ€ Kapoor was commended for her reporting, writing, photography, videography, and design skills. The judging committee also noted her knowledge of student press rights and responsibilities.

โ€œKrisha demonstrates a firm grasp of what it takes to engage diverse audiences in modern-day journalism by knowing what a news story is and how to lead a newsroom staff to tell that story,โ€ the committee wrote.
