Dave Dawson, running for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District, shared a story from the Woodbury County Fair:
He and his Republican opponent, at booths across the aisle from each other, sat down, talked, and even posed together holding an American flag.
“We might disagree on policy, but we don’t need to be disagreeable with one another,” Dawson said Saturday at the Des Moines Register’s Political Soapbox at the Iowa State Fair.
