Iowa Democratic lieutenant governor candidate Dave Muhlbauer says a Rob Sand administration would regulate recreational marijuana similarly to alcohol, with an age limit, restrictions on advertising and a ban on public consumption.
Muhlbauer defended the proposal during a visit to a youth addiction treatment facility, arguing that Iowans already cross state lines to purchase marijuana and bring it home.
