Josh Turek’s sister was diagnosed with Stage Two breast cancer the same week he launched his US Senate campaign.
Her insurer denied a PET scan to check if it had spread because she wasn’t Stage Three or Four yet.
At the Iowa State Fair on Friday, Turek said companies should be required to explain these decisions.
