One of Kristina Remus’ jobs as the patient services coordinator at Planned Parenthood is to interact with patients seeking abortion care and help them find resources. These conversations are emotional, she says, especially now that Iowa has a near-total abortion ban.

Regardless of the ban, Remus wants patients to know Planned Parenthood can still answer questions, offer emotional support, and help them find the care they need.
