In the Oct. 14 Iowa gubernatorial debate, Democrat Rob Sand said local elected officials should not be allowed to sign nondisclosure agreements with companies like data centers that keep the public in the dark about who is building what. Republican Zach Lahn, in his own answer on data centers, called for no tax incentives but did not address data center NDAs.
