IA-Sen: Missed The Debates? It’s Not Too Late To Compare Candidates

Three debates among the four Democratic candidates running for U.S. Senate in Iowa took place this week ahead of the June 2 primary.

The candidates are: Des Moines businesswoman Theresa Greenfield, Indianola attorney Kimberly Graham, retired Navy Admiral Michael Franken of Sioux City, and Eddie Mauro, a businessman and former teacher from Des Moines.

Two debates were televised live and one was conducted virtually.

The winner of the upcoming primary will face first-term Republican Sen. Joni Ernst in the general election. Ernst is one of 23 Senate Republicans up for reelection this year as they try to hold the chamber and the presidency. Twelve Democrats are defending their Senate seats this year.
