3 ways to be a women’s sports fan in Iowa

Caitlin Clark isn’t the only thing Iowa’s got going for it when it comes to women’s sports.

From tackle football clubs to an undefeated soccer team and a brand-new bar dedicated to it all, here are some ways you can lean into your women’s sports fandom here in Iowa.

🐕 This is “my Irish Wolfhound family: Papa O’Kelly, Mama Bridgid, and baby Kieran,” writes reader Jim H.

“Irish Wolfhounds are big lovers and, while they were bred to kill wolves, they are most at home sprawled out on the couch,” he wrote. “They love people and truly are gentle giants.”

🧌 Real-life trolling: Four giant troll sculptures are now in Iowa, thanks to Danish “garbage artist” Thomas Dambo: three in Clinton and one in tiny Elk Horn (pictured above).
