Caitlin Clark isn’t the only thing Iowa’s got going for it when it comes to women’s sports.

From tackle football clubs to an undefeated soccer team and a brand-new bar dedicated to it all, here are some ways you can lean into your women’s sports fandom here in Iowa.

🧌 Real-life trolling: Four giant troll sculptures are now in Iowa, thanks to Danish “garbage artist” Thomas Dambo: three in Clinton and one in tiny Elk Horn (pictured above).

🍺 Best brews in the world: Six Iowa breweries took home top awards in the 2026 World Beer Cup in Philadelphia last month: Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City, Field Day Brewing in North Liberty, Flix Brewhouse in Des Moines, Full Fledge Brewing in Council Bluffs, Lion Bridge Brewing Co. in Cedar Rapids, and Marto Brewing in Sioux City.

🦬 A rare birth: A white bison calf (pictured below) was born last week at the Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge in Prairie City—a literal one-in-a-million chance. Several Indigenous American tribes believe a white buffalo calf is sacred and a sign of hope.
