Iowa’s new anti-immigrant law is based on a Texas law that some argue is unconstitutional.
And those folks showed up at rallies in Davenport, Des Moines, Iowa City, and Waterloo on Wednesday to protest it.
Hundreds marched with signs, chanted, and spoke about how the law could affect them at the rallies.
