Once reserved for kids only, the Coralville pantry program has now expanded to allow anyone to enjoy free meals, regardless of age.

Getting into good trouble: A Luther College student we’ve profiled previously and a group of high school students in Mason City both received the John Lewis Youth Leadership Award last month for addressing civil rights issues and supporting change in their communities.

Mansur Kasali (pictured above) won for founding “Up to Us,” a student-led civic engagement platform, on Luther’s campus.

The Mason City Alternative High School Key Club (pictured below) won for providing food and hot meals to those experiencing homelessness, residents at local care facilities, and animal welfare organizations.
