Iowa Rep. Zach Nunn was caught striking a Democratic tracker’s phone after the tracker approached him in Washington and asked about rural hospital closures.
The confrontation comes as Democrats criticize Nunn’s support for the Republican tax and spending law, which cut Medicaid funding and could affect rural Iowa hospitals.
