DNC Billboard
As more than a dozen GOP presidential candidates descend on Des Moines for the Iowa State Fair, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) wants to send them a message they won’t miss.
The DNC is placing a billboard in Iowa’s capital city attacking Republican candidates for supporting the MAGA agenda, which Democrats said includes hurting working families, tax cuts for the wealthy, and banning abortion.
The billboard will be on display for about two weeks. The fair runs Aug. 10-20.
“While GOP presidential hopefuls clamor to out-MAGA each other at the Iowa State Fair this weekend, the DNC is just making sure Iowa voters know exactly how extreme each of these candidates are,” said DNC spokesperson Emily Soong.
“No matter who survives this messy and chaotic primary, GOP presidential contenders will be running on a MAGA agenda of ripping away freedoms, raising costs for working families, and shilling for special interests,” she continued.
