Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart beat two opponents to secure his fourth two-year term.

This was Hart’s first contested race since his initial campaign in 2015. In addition to taking on Klein and Mays, Hart was constantly attacked by Cedar Valley Backs the Blue, a dog-whistling political action committee dedicated to defeating him.
