Voting to save Iowa schools 🗳️

Want to stop the mass exodus of quality teachers from leaving Iowa? Want to make sure they’re not only paid fairly, but feel like their district has their back?

When it comes to Halloween costumes, I don’t think I’ll ever top 2008, when I found a yellow pantsuit at Plato’s Closet and went as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Nikoel still loves her Dalmatian costume from 2005 (when she was 8), and Ty has a couple recent favorites:

Not much has changed in drought conditions over last week, despite some rain. Eastern Iowa is still deep in extreme drought conditions and the southeast corner of the state has gone from abnormally dry to moderate drought over the last week.
