Iowa hospitals and clinics are worried about keeping their doors open. Premiums keep climbing.
Christina Bohannan, the Democrat challenging Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, says she’d start by repealing the Medicaid cuts, which she calls a “five alarm fire” for hospitals she’s visited across the district. Then she’d let people buy into Medicare at a guaranteed affordable rate, without getting rid of private insurance.
