About Shop Iowa Day 2024
Introduced in August 2020, Shop Iowa serves as a crucial resource for small businesses in Iowa, providing a platform for Iowans and others to shop locally. The marketplace caters to businesses with existing online platforms and those new to e-commerce, with support from the Iowa-based Member Marketplace, Inc. Debi Durham, director of IEDA and Iowa Finance Authority, emphasized the marketplace’s role in creating new opportunities across all 99 counties in Iowa.
Exclusive promotions for Shop Iowa Day 2024 include a 30% discount on sitewide purchases with a special coupon code available on October 9. Consumers will also have the chance to win a $500 shopping spree or participate in two pre-event giveaways via social media. Additional incentives include limited-time discounts from statewide small businesses, a $5 gift card for every $25 gift card purchase, and free shipping offers from select businesses with options for local pickup.
Promotions will commence at 6 p.m. on October 8, offering early access deals to Shop Iowa email and text list subscribers. These deals will continue throughout the day on October 9, concluding at 11:59 p.m. Shoppers can subscribe to text alerts for real-time updates on the day’s offers and access a 30% off discount on an order.
