Sen. Joni Ernst announced today that she’s been named to the president’s task force formed to determine when to re-open America’s economy.

The task force is called the Opening Up America Again Congressional Group, and is composed of a bipartisan list of congresspeople and senators. Today, Trump talked to members on the phone.

“The dialogue between the President, senior Administration officials, and the bipartisan group of Members of Congress also included a range of topics, namely the need for additional funding for the Paycheck Protection Program, the international and domestic supply chains, ways to energize the economy, surprise medical billing, clarifying the difference between essential and non-essential workers, mental health, and relief for small businesses,” a White House press briefing said.

Ernst tweeted:

The group also discussed increased access to COVID-19 testing, ventilators, face masks and other Personal Protective Equipment.

Sen. Chuck Grassley was also named to the group. A full list of members can be found here.

According to a Wall Street Journal reporter, the task force includes all Republican senators, except Mitt Romney.
